A Course In Miracles
Nothing real can be threatened
Nothing unreal exists
Herein lays the peace of God.
So begins “A Course in Miracles,” which makes a clear distinction between the real and the unreal, between knowledge and perception. Knowledge is truth and is ruled by one law: the law of LOVE GOD. Truth is unalterable, eternal and unambiguous…. …. The world of perception, on the other hand, is the world of time, of change, of the beginning of the end. It is based on interpretation, not on facts.
It is a world of birth and death, based on our belief in scarcity, loss, separation and death …. …. The world we see merely reflects our internal framework: the dominant ideas, wishes and emotions that host our minds. “Projection makes perception. The world you see is what you gave it, nothing more than that. But though it is no more than that, it is not less (Text, page. 445)…. ….Forgiveness is the exalted learning resource that the Holy Spirit uses to accomplish that change in our thinking…
“I am responsible for what I see.
I choose the feelings I experience, and I decide upon the goal I would achieve.
And everything that seems to happen to me I ask for, and receive as I have asked”
(Text page 448)
